HELLO!

In 2015 I was on a pilgrimage and I saw how streets outside the holy mosques were not clean. At that time I was already working on environmental issues. A year later I was allowed to help organize COP22 in Marrakech-Morocco.

Since then, Green Muslims has emerged to raise environmental awareness and encourage climate activism. For, Our faith is Green.

We consist of a group of Muslim professionals who have put their heads together and decided to be an information platform for the Muslim community in Europe and England on environmental and climate issues. And that the provision of information about this needs to be improved. Moreover, we strive to work on a change of mentality.

The information on this website has been created through a collaboration with affiliated organizations, companies, various countries, Imams, all mosques in Europe and England, social organizations and other involved parties of companies, agencies and ministries in Europe and England. Also countries in the Arab and Islamic World. 

  • The Green Muslims Mega Campaign:

    A unique Mega-education campaign, both online and face to face, for the more than 12.5 million Muslims in Europe and England.


    Important travel information about Environment and Climate Change, indispensable practical advice and tips, personal stories and penetrating reports and studies provide a comprehensive picture of this impressive process, in which millions of people worldwide participate every year. It is the first time in Europe that an information campaign of this magnitude has been made about environmental and climate challenges.


    Furthermore, Groen Muslims also organizes educational programs for local youth in different countries, We also organize monthly community walks and clean-ups, and we provide guest speakers and educational materials for local Islamic centers and community centers.
